I'm deeply fascinated with the scroll-like narrative-there is a story, and it includes surprises! It’s a beautiful way to deal with both time and space. This work captures a scene from my daily life. In the lychee orchard, the seasons shift dramatically- flourishing and fading, rising and fallingeach day unfolding a different story. I walk with my dogs, encountering snakes and various animals. When my beloved pet passed away, I buried it in the woods. The forest feels like an open diary, recording the history of life. When helping my mother apply for a certificate of dementia diagnosis, I described her entire life in just a few minutes during the doctor’s interview. In my mind, I felt a deep shock and sorrow-as if her soul was shrinking and slipping away. Her memories became jumbled and reversed; the past appeared vividly before us, but it felt so unreal and distant. I wanted to use painting as a form of healing, but it turned into a difficult journey.入 選
